The Art of Tea

(2015-16 ELC Kindergarten)

The ELC Kindergarten ventured upon a learning journey that went from potions and mixing to creating a cafe and concern for children in far-away lands, all through the Art of Tea. Starting with their IB PYP Unit of Inquiry on ”How the World Works”, the project merged into their next unit on “Sharing the Planet”. But as is the case with much of their learning in the Reggio Emilia approach, the children’s magical journey began with a simple question: “Why can tea be both hot and cold?”
