The Memory

It was a privilege and challenge to work with Antonin Raymond who left NIS with a structure that mirrors his honesty, openness, and self-confidence. The decision made by the Board of Directors in the 60's to hire someone with Raymond's background, ability and experience in Japan turned out to be the right one. It led to our circular structure, one of the symbols of NIS, which has been serving a flexible and progressive educational program since 1967.

The Raymond Building is a reminder that learning never ends, and that honesty is beauty. It is a place where students are motivated to gain knowledge and self-confidence.
