Making an Impact
This week our Art for Advocacy Club students were grateful to hear from Association for Aid and Relief (AAR) Japan thanking them for the donation they made to support AAR Japan's efforts in Ukraine after raising funds through the sale of handmade crafts such as winter cards, Halloween masks, pumpkin candy, and other Halloween and Winter sales. AAR Japan is a Nonprofit organization that supports refugees in 16 different countries by distributing supplies, removing land mines and unloading bombs, and supporting those with disabilities. The Art for Advocacy Club chose this organization because the donation would be used for food, health and medical supplies, and educational materials in Ukraine. Thank you to all of the people who supported the club’s efforts, and for supporting Ukraine. And special thanks to Art for Advocacy Club for making an impact!
