Our Impact on the Environment
Students in Gr. 8 I&S are learning some of the ways humans can be harmful to the environment. This week they were challenged to design a river where the humans living near it would have the least impact on its environment. Where is the best place to have a water treatment plant? What impact do farms have on rivers? And most importantly, is it effective to have a dam right next to the ocean? Ask a student in Gr. 8 to find out!
