Gr. 10 Arts Night
Gr. 10 wowed their parents in the MPH on Thursday! Between nostalgic and modern music pieces to innovative theater techniques, the Gr. 10 students really shined and demonstrated all the talents they’ve been perfecting in their Drama and Music classes. Students that have been studying music this semester showed their versatility and many skills as they rotated around the stage picking up and performing on various instruments. Meanwhile, the drama students performed in pairs while a third student filmed and projected live on screens, emulating Katie Mitchell’s style of Live Cinema. This added dimension and depth to the dialogue happening on the stage.
This is the culmination of the MYP Arts exploration for Gr. 10. But don’t worry if you missed it! They will be selecting and performing some of these again on Tuesday, May 31 during their “End of MYP Celebration.” We encourage all parents of Gr. 10 students to sign up via the Google form sent earlier and join us in the MPH from 4pm that day! We are looking forward to welcoming you to celebrate these talented students!
