GIN Students Help Maintain Sustainable Environments for Storks

GIN (Global Issues Network) students have been working hard not only toward raising awareness of global issues, but to contribute to the global effort to solve local issues. Currently they are working on a project in Toyooka City to help reintroduce the Oriental White Storks by selling the rice that has been farmed using organic farming methods to help maintain a sustainable environment for the storks. On Friday, GIN members visited classrooms throughout the school to ask for support and distributed rice order forms. The forms can be submitted through classrooms until December 14. Thank you GIN students for leading this initiative!
