Getting Ready for DP!
Grade 10 students have been exploring their future in DP science classes by using some of the eBooks and other sourced materials to create mini-presentations on subjects that interested them. The areas of interest stretched across the 4 DP science disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS). The students did a great job researching their chosen subject of interest within one of the disciplines and then crafted a presentation to explain their concept. They used Google Meet and shared their screens to explain in detail the scientific concepts behind their chosen topic. Everything from how water molecules bond to how projectiles create elliptical pathways, these mini-presentations really elicited cool science facts that even informed their teachers from time to time! Great job, Gr. 10 students! We hope you enjoy exploring science as DP students in the new East Building!
