Econ Queens
On Sunday, March 13th, four Gr. 10 Individuals & Societies students took part of their weekend to present at the Adobe Japan Education Fest 2022. In this event, our "Econ Queens" - taught Japanese teachers from across Japan how to use Adobe Creative Cloud Express, as they did for a class assignment. This dynamic team clearly and skillfully explained how they created their own brand for a mock YouTube channel called The Econ Queens. For the channel, they created a playlist of short videos for a teenage audience learning about mixed economies, a topic of study in their I&S class. The feedback from our NIS students 'teaching the teachers' was overwhelmingly positive as our very own Econ Queens demonstrated their skills in research, synthesis, collaboration, and creativity.
