Action Heroes Fundraiser
Nagoya Action Heroes organized a fundraiser to help sponsor the 8th Trans* Achievers Awards Ceremony hosted by Born2Win. Born2Win is a Transgender person-led organization that works towards empowering members of the Transgender community in Tamil Nadu, India. It does this through creating positive role models within the community and by facilitating education & employment opportunities for them. This award ceremony will be held to mark Transgender Day Celebrations. The award recipients include a writer, a folk artist, a lawyer, a medical student, a physiotherapist, and social activists, among others! It was an excellent opportunity for the Action Heroes to raise funds for such a significant event. This fundraiser event also happened to coincide with International Transgender Day of Visibility which is dedicated to celebrations of their contributions to society.
