Scaring off the Oni!
Again this year, ELC students faced a scary-looking “Oni”(demon) who tried to bring bad luck and evil spirits to the students in the ELC, but the students bravely stood up against him by throwing roasted beans at him and he ran away! This is a Japanese tradition to celebrate the first day of spring on February 3. Due to the flu outbreak and schedule conflicts, this Oni was a little late....! Watch the video HERE.
