Rights and Responsibilities
Gr. 3 students are inquiring into rights and responsibilities as part of their UOI "Sharing the Planet". Students explored the opportunities within the school community that help them learn, grow, be safe and happy, which lead them to think about what rights are and if children around the world have access to the same rights, what their needs are, etc. They also learned that in order to enjoy their rights, they need to be aware of the responsibilities that come with those rights. To explain what rights and responsibilities they have as part of our community, each student created posters and shared them with classmates. They showed their understanding of what rights and responsibilities they have to learn and be happy by using their presentation skills and by being great listeners. Great job Gr. 3!
