PYP Exhibition

Gr. 5 students started 6 weeks ago on their exhibition journey!  Students worked to identify interests, connect those interests to issues and then to create their own central ideas and lines of inquiry to research and learn about.  Students made sense of their research and then turned that newfound knowledge into visuals to share with others.  Next students started to take meaningful action around their topic while reflecting along the way.  While their individual inquiries were going on, students worked collaboratively on a musical performance and in committees to plan and organize the exhibition event.

On the day students artwork and expression was shown in the inquiry zone.  The whole process of exhibition was broken down into fun and interactive stations to share with visitors in the inquire zone.  In the impact zone students shared what they learned about their own individual central ideas and the action that they took to make the community or the world a better place.  On the day students adjusted their presentations to suit the audience whether they were ELC students 3 years of age or HS students just about to move into Gr. 12.

Congratulations to Gr. 5 students and teachers on the great success of the PYP Exhibition!
