Primary Sports Day included an "opening ceremony" with a whole school challenge, a parade of teams, and a chance to come together on the field to celebrate teamwork and school spirit! Students then participated in a rotation of activities that showcased the skills and strategies they developed in their PE classes. It was wonderful to see our students challenge themselves and cheer each other on during these events. A highlight of the morning was a "sponge the teacher" race in which students got to work together to get a few lucky teachers and one associate principal very, very wet! In the afternoon, we gathered together for a short assembly to reflect on the day, enjoy a slideshow of highlights and think about the many small ways that we can all demonstrate our "greatness." 

Thank you to the PE department who helped students prepare for this day and all the teachers who showed their school spirit! Thank you also to the PTA for the delicious healthy snack and the nine parent helpers who volunteered on this day!
