Primary Student Council Election
Congratulations to the Red Tigers for being selected as Primary Student Council for the 2022-23 school year! As part of their UOI "How We Organize Ourselves", Gr. 4 students have been inquiring into how government systems are organized and rights and responsibilities within the system. After the successful Freedom Friday where all the planning and organizing was led by the democratically elected president and representatives, Gr. 4 students formed four groups as candidates to run for Primary Student Council. Each group created their slogans and logos, and worked on their speech-delivering skills. After the week-long campaign appealing to students in other grades on the playground during recess and before and after school, the final presentations were made in the Primary Assembly. Congratulations and good luck in your leadership roles as you work with the current Gr. 5s next quarter and take the reins next year!
