Moving up!
Move-up Day in the ELC has become an annual rite of passage for our smallest of students. How exciting it is to walk into the Gr. 1 classroom and assume the role of an Elementary student for the day if you are a brave little Kindergartener about to take the leap next year! For our younger ELC students moving into Kindergarten, it is equally exciting as they learn the responsibilities they will have as the ‘senpai’ in the building.
That was what all the excitement about in the ELC and Gr. 1 classrooms was about on Wednesday! We were also thrilled to welcome some of our newly admitted students and their families to get a glimpse of the big adventures to come in August. Move-up Day is always filled with a little trepidation, excitement, and the thrill of possibility for the students and their parents and a great way to start preparing for all the fun and learning to come!
