Japanese Traditions
The ELC Kindergarten students learned about Setsubun, the Japanese tradition to celebrate the first day of spring in the lunar calendar which is February 2. The students made Oni (demon) masks and learned that they must defeat them if they encounter the Oni on Setsubun. Let’s see if they can beat the Oni when the they visit the ELC next week!
