Gr.5 Move-Up Day

Grade 5 students had a full day of ‘going back to the future’ as they lived like Middle schoolers on Wednesday. Starting with figuring how the lockers work and then jumping into a regular schedule of Wednesday classes, including Design, Science, Individuals and Societies, and Wellbeing, the students got to see what it felt like to move from class to class…the pitfalls of getting from point A to point B in time, and the anticipation and trepidation (perhaps?) of having to get to know a host of new teachers.

After a comfortable year of relative insulation in the Annex, no doubt it was a big change to move around the different parts of campus and have a trial run at what next year has in store. The cherry on top? Certainly it was the thrill of being able to order food from Cezar’s Cafe in the East Building! It is rumored to be one of the milestones that many of the Primary students dream about! Congratulations, again, Gr. 5 as you check off the list of things that lead you to Grade 6!
