Gr. 5 Students Donate ‘Mini-library' to Local Hospital
A dedicated group of Gr 5 students deserve recognition for their perseverance and the impact they have made recently. After organizing multiple events to raise funds, they purchased a selection of children's books, and on Monday donated them to the newly rebuilt Colony Central Hospital in Kasugai. Within minutes of being put on display, the books were in use by children waiting for treatment at the hospital. It was very pleasing to see how the picture books made a sometimes stressful visit to the hospital a little easier to bear.
