Gr. 5 Scientists!
Gr. 5 began their journey this week as young scientists. This week’s focus area comes from the second line of inquiry which considers how matter changes by investigating examples of chemical changes. Students were in a simulated lab setting to get first-hand experience of how matter undergoes a permanent change. Students participated in two separate lab sessions that asked them to create a simple slime recipe and bake a simple cake. The results were both fantastic and yummy!
