Gr. 5 Art Exhibition
Gr. 5 students held two art exhibitions on Wednesday and Friday. They have been exploring how to develop meaning across different mediums through artistic experimentation based on an issue or something important to them. They practiced actively hiding meaning and provoking more questions than answers from the viewer by using symbolism and combining elements of expression and layering. Much of the art was based on COVID-19, since that was a common theme for all, although many transferred to other issues important to them. There were lots of interesting art pieces and they will be available to view on Google site soon.
