Gr. 4 Sharing The Planet
Gr. 4 students have been exploring how changes in the Earth and its atmosphere impact the way we live in their "Sharing the Planet" unit. Last week, they visited the Secondary Science lab to conduct a scientific experiment looking at the relationship between excess CO2 in the atmosphere and rising temperatures. This week, they had an online guest speaker with Dr. Rob Vertessy, a leading expert in environmental issues and Former Director of the Bureau of Meteorology for the Austrian Government. The Gr. 4 students listened intently while taking notes and asked a lot of deep-thinking questions.
