Gr. 3 Economics Unit
For their "How the World Works" unit, third graders are learning that an economy is built on exchanging goods and services. They are inquiring into the production cycles of the things we use and eat everyday! For example, students surveyed each other to discover where their clothes came from, pinned the results on a map, and made a bar graph. On Wednesday, they planted sweet potatoes. Stay tuned as students explore production cycles as they see the sprouts from one potato grow many potatoes!
