Gr. 1 students had a fantastic time exploring the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology and discovering the many uses of different materials. The students were fascinated by the many ways that materials can be used in engineering and design. With hands-on activities and interactive exhibits, the museum provided a fun and engaging learning experience for all. The students left with a newfound appreciation for the importance of materials in our daily lives. They are currently inquiring into materials and how they are used for different purposes as part of their unit “How the World Works”.
