A Parent Information Session for the ELC parents was held on Thursday. It was the first community event on campus for 3 months following a shift to Level 4 in December. It was a great feeling to have parents back on campus! Ms. Johnson, the Primary Associate Principal, Ms. Nina, the PYP Coordinator, and Ms. Ngugi, the Whole School Counselor shared information about the different aspects of ELC learning. For example, there was a overall presentation about the ELC and how the PYP curriculum, inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophies inform the day-to-day learning, including the standards that the teachers build into the curriculum. There was also a talk about how we support students’ social and emotional well-being and how each family can support their children outside the classroom. Thank you parents for your participation and for your continued support. We look forward to seeing our Elementary School parents for their information session next week!
