Connecting with the Past
Gr. 2 students had special parent guests on Tuesday who shared their knowledge and helped students make connections between the past and present through both technology and music for their UOI “Where We Are in Place and Time”. The parents showcased various music devices such as records, cassette tapes and CDs, and different generations of cell phones from the 1990s. Then, students wrote a reflection using the “Visible Thinking Routine, 3-2-1 Bridge” to share what they learned from the presentations. Thank you parents for making student learning relevant and meaningful - and FUN!
