What does it mean to be a leader?
NIS held its very first Junior Student Leadership Conference which gave a group of students from Grades 4-8 the chance to participate in a one-day workshop and gain leadership skills. Two high school students with leadership experience organized the workshop, leading the students through the 3Cs of leadership (competence, commitment, and character) and sharing their personal experience and advice. We are grateful for all of these students - both the high school student leaders and the Gr. 4-8 student leaders - to be living the NIS mission and having a positive impact in their communities. Good job everyone!
