Walkathon T-shirt Contest
It is that time of year again! Entry forms for the Chubu Walkathon T-shirt contest have been distributed via homerooms to students who are interested in participating. They will also be available in Rm 133, or a digital form can be requested at development@nis.ac.jp.
The deadline for entries will be Monday, February 21. From the entries, NIS students will have the opportunity to choose the top four designs. Those four will then go on to a wider community vote through the ACCJ/NIS Chubu Walkathon official site and the winner will be announced in March. To make it more fun, there are some great prizes to win, too!
And don't forget to mark your calendars for the Walkathon itself! It is tentatively planned for May 22 at Meijo Park in Nagoya. It is a great event held annually with the cooperation of NIS and the American Chamber of Commerce of Japan (ACCJ) and proceeds raised at the event go to support around 20 local charities each year. Please support the Walkathon!
