Staff Skill Share

We are grateful for the time on Wednesdays for staff to collaborate! During one of our Skills Share sessions, teachers unpacked pedagogical documentation as a way to reflect alongside children, holistically assess skills, give voice, and to show value for how children's explorations can move forward in their inquiry process. When we look at the layers of pedagogical documentation, we are able to understand how our interactions with children support metacognitive processes, build relationships, and inform learning projections in a constructivist way. During three sessions, teachers connected to their intentions following our units of inquiry, and created pedagogical documentation. Teachers learned to work on specific applications in print and video formats, following the SAMR Model, aiming to amplify students' voice in their learning space as a way to move inquiry forward, and reflect on the diverse learning experiences that happen in each classroom.
