Rakugo Performances
NIS students had a great opportunity on Monday to enjoy Rakugo, a traditional Japanese form of storytelling. Katsura Sunshine (桂三輝), who is famous worldwide, made a stop in Nagoya between his shows on Broadway, London and Tokyo for a special performance for NIS students. He also led a workshop for the secondary drama and DP theatre classes. The MPH was filled with great excitement and laughter, and students, parents and staff had a great time learning about traditional Japanese culture weaved between his stories.
