Intl Mother Language Day

On Wednesday, NIS celebrated some of the many ‘Mother Tongues’ spoken around the school with a host of activities for the Primary students held during the first three periods of the day. Secondary students involved in the Home Language Clubs facilitated the games and activities. They worked hard in the weeks leading up to the event, crafting fun ways to expose their younger schoolmates to new and interesting languages. In addition, they created passports for each student that took them around the school (and the world!) for a lively morning of learning.
