NIS Int. Mother Language Day!
UN International Mother Language Day is coming up and the NIS Home Language Club is busy planning and organizing the event for both Primary and Secondary students - and at NIS, we have turned it into International Mother Language Week!
On Wednesday, Primary students will be given a boarding ticket to travel to six different countries to engage in fun activities and experience different cultures and languages. They will also have an International Parade! (If possible, don’t forget to wear clothes that represent your home language or home country but are comfortable to move around!).
Secondary students will dive into their discovery of “who they are” and research the many mother languages in our student community and make a video to share with everyone. Thank you Home Language Club for your leadership and we are looking forward to the fun, eventful week!
