Graduation Live Streaming
This year, like many things, NIS graduation plans had to be changed. After hearing from the students and families that the ceremony was extremely important for them, the school decided to shift the graduation ceremony outdoors! So for the first time in the history of NIS (we think!), the ceremony will be held outdoors, and on home-plate of the Keith Dixon Field.
The event will be closed to public (including the NIS community), and only immediate family members and school staff will be invited. The ceremony will start at 4 pm, and will be "broadcast" live on Facebook Live, and we hope to be able to share the joy and emotion together in this virtual way with friends and relatives from around the world (or even just in Nagoya).
Fingers are crossed and we hope the ceremony will be able to escape the rain! (In the event of rain, it will be moved to Sunday, June 7 - and then again, if that day turns out rainy, it will move to another date, possibly June 14).
We are so proud of these graduates and their accomplishments! As many graduates before them, their NIS stories are varied and unique. Some have been at NIS for over a decade, while others have only been at part of this class for a couple years. They are a diverse group of students, with a wide range of talents, dreams and passions, and we look forward to seeing them again in the future, surly following their passions along their desired future path!
