Earth Day Preparations
This week, the Gr. 11 students leading the Earth Day actions for 2021 presented their plans at the weekly whole-staff meeting. On Thursday 22 April, they will be encouraging students to follow several eco-friendly rules, sign an open letter requesting that NIS transition to renewable energy, participate in a rally, and wear natural fibre clothing. More information will be shared via homerooms and a slide deck. The organizers hope that this initiative will contribute towards NIS transitioning to a renewable energy-run school in the foreseeable future.
