The Gr. 10 Personal Project is finally, officially launched. Luckily we are able to hold meetings face-to-face after having to hold sessions online during Online Learning! In homerooms, students identified their character strengths to apply a strengths-based lens in undertaking their project. On Thursday and Friday this week, two sessions were held to prepare them for the Dolphin Tank, where they will share their ideas, a possible outcome, and the relevant global context. In the first session, the students explored their interests through a range of interactive tasks and group discussions. This was an opportunity for them to also bond with those who share their common interests, and understand how a topic may be explored in multiple ways. In the second session, 'Making It MYP,' they had an opportunity to look at an exemplar, use the assessment criteria, and consolidate their learning for the Dolphin Tank.
