The High School Girls Soccer team participated in their tournament in Iwakuni. As the youngest team in the tournament, playing against three teams with much more experience, our girls played exceptionally well. They reflected on their tough losses, continued to improve their concentration and thinking as individuals and moving the ball as a team. On the second day, their concentration was consistent, marking and following players tenacious, communication clearer, and formational play was much more balanced. While there is still much to learn and improve upon, we are proud of their hard work and growth over the season and this past weekend. They were indeed the 'talk of the tournament' with opposing coaches and supporters expressing a bright future for this group of players.
The Future Looks Bright!
