Parent Partner Tours

Since the start of the school year, it has been so unfortunate that the NIS campus has had to enforce our Campus Access policy, making it difficult for parents to spend time on campus like before. We sincerely appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe! But because of this need to restrict access, it has also been hard to introduce the new East Building to our parents at a time when we really want to show everyone, including our parents - our biggest supporters - what an amazing impact the building is having on learning at NIS. While we were able to offer guided tours on the first weekend of school for any interested parents and students, we knew that others were still out there who were not able to join at that time. This week, we started to offer limited after school tours to parents, first opening it up to parents who are signed-up as Parent Partners, with plans to extend this in the future subject to safety assessments. The tours all maintain the ‘bubble principle’ and so parents will only be accepted in small groups and this will only happen after school where few students if any will be in the building. In the case students are using a space, the tour will not go directly into that area. All parents touring will be subject to the normal campus access safety measures.
